There is no need to race. I agree it is expensive but you can improve cornering and test your skills in low risk area. I wished to do it some day but I was wondering should I change the bike or FZ1 naked will do the job.

Start the engine, put your helmet and gloves on and there we are. That is enough. Ride for 2-3 min. down the street and your are ready for speed ticket. No worries. Cheers

Agree. The power comes in mid range. Then I feel it,... Ofcourse always can be better.

This sounds impossible for me. I can't go for less than 6.5l/100km, 36.2 mpg, (US gallon) or 43.5 mpg, (UK gallon). In the city I get 8l/100km equals to 29 mpg US, 35 mpg UK.

Once you run the engine the revs are high by default and you can't do much of it to keep them low. After about 20-30 seconds they are lowering. I always start the engine first and then put my helmet and gloves on. It's about 1-2 minutes when the motorbike is stationary before I kick the first...

I use chain cleaner and lube from Yamalube. Tried many before but they all fall off and make greasy around. The trick is to apply the lube when the chain is hot and leave the bike for 10 hours. And don't put too much. Since I do this the mess is much less.
