So I decided to use the FZ1 for my website/social media cards.

I looked at ECU west. Still not convinced. I think if I was to do the ecu flashing I'd just get a DIY kit.

I won't be getting a Ivan tune for the simple fact I don't want to be without the bike why the ECU is away. I have been looking at some headers but still not sure on what to get. Its all about the cost for benefit now. $3-400 headers or ECU flash for a few HP. Not sure its worth it in the end...

There is a guy in perth that does them. ECUnleashed Australia | Chip Tuning | ECU Remapping | ECUwest My honest opinion is for what its going to cost you over here just buy the FT-ecu kit or for a power commander. Unless you want to extract every last drop of power from the bike that is.

I've been keeping a record of my usage latley just to see how bad it is. Best I've got so far is 36 mpg or 7.84 L/100 I know most of it is down to the tune. Its well overdue for a retune now that it has a couple of extra mods. May even look into a autotune to get the cruising tune a little...

Its the Yamaha comfort seat. Bike is in fairly good condition just the odd little paint chip here and there that is to be expected with a now 6 year old bike I guess.

Most I've got out of mine was 80% highway and got 180km. I'd say with what you are getting on a stock bike it would be around correct for a melbourne commute.

I've been thinking about stacks also, its either that or engine work from here. However no matter what route I go down the return on investment will be tiny.
