    CrazyBiker! Need your help!

Both are not compatible if you go with the Givi PLXR mount kit. I run either one of them at a time. However, there is a guy on FZ1OA who made a custom adapter to make both work. FZ1OA Message Board Mine are not the quick release but take like a couple of minutes to take of. Only thing that...

Danmoto Exhaust Remote Sound Control System

Pretty cool! I am actually in admiration of this company. Very affordable mods unlike other manufacturers that charge an arm and a leg at almost 400% markup. https://www.dan-moto.com/DM_INT/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=18_21_212&products_id=1433&zenid=0ugnah36siineata9ggdpepvv4...

What did you do to your Non-FZ1 motorcycle today.

Maybe a similar solution to the 07+ R1 fork mod might apply here. CBR1000RR caliper spacers.

    Pitbull Rear Tire Wedge

Pitbull stands are way overpriced anyway. My $30-50 stands just work as well. However, that tire wedge is pretty handy.

    Satan V4 R1 Shock Adapter

What are you asking for it? Might as well order from you if the price is good. Or we will start fabricating it and selling it on the forums.

    Satan V4 R1 Shock Adapter

I have a friend with access to all kinds of fabrication machines (CNC, 5-axis, 3D) at work (works with Google Streetview). He has the design ready and is waiting to confirm some specs when his R1 shock arrives. He is saying he can churn these adapters out for pretty cheap (almost 50% of Satan's...

    Let Them Eat

Sounds like my first aggressive ride on the loop with the flash. Had maybe 5mm chicken strips on the 190/55 rear before. Now there are none! For the first time i actually enjoyed the Mt. Hamilton downhill without getting tired at all.

    R1 fork conversion brake levers

Remember that the bend on the line banjo is also different for the R1 MC. You will end up twisting your lines a lot to make them fit. I did. I am going to man up buy proper R1 lines.

Just got an FZ1 and I hate it.

That is because Mike (loosenut) is not only fast but he is smooth as well having ridden with him many times. He will be running mostly 4th-5th gear when you are running 3-4th. His mpg will always be better at the same pace.

    2015 yamaha fj-09

CC included in 10.5K. Asking too much IMHO... D-Mode, TCS, ABS, LED headlights, handguards, hardbag mounts, power outlet, adjustable seat and windshield is already pretty good deal. One thing I didn't understand though.a 50 lb gain from centerstand, fairing, tcs, abs?

    Finally tried a crossplane R1...

Trust me, you would prefer a SS if you do only twisties ... I won't have it as my only bike though!

    Bad vibration

Every factory bike I have ridden has vibrations around that rev range. It is a matter of tuning as these bikes are tuned lean for EPA regulations.

    Can't stop scraping the peg

The peg feelers are a good indicator that you are pushing it too much on the street. However, good body position remedies it to a certain extent. If you have lot of tight twisties that have proper banking then you will even drag the aftermarket rearsets. I have dragged my Giles sets in such...

    Strider's 2014 Trip Report Thread

I loved Fontana as well. Ah, the fog - I remember it - the fog also causes some wet, slippery spots when it condenses so gotta be careful. I was not worried though, as the traction and pavement quality is great and grippy. The things I miss on the west coast, is the greenery and shade and...
