Hi Stretch, sad to here your loosing your best riding buddy. I ride with my Father too, he's 83 now and rides a Honda CBX 550.

I've been getting 6.613 litres per 100 kilometers or 15.12 kilomters per 1 litre = 42.76 miles per imperial gallon. This is around town road use and not hard out. I'm running 98 NZ (93 US) Octane Petrol.

I've been told this is the best Street Fighter out of all bikes!

Its a nice bike and good price but it didnt have frame roller protectors and thats way its scraped up bad for a slow low side crash.:2cents:

Hi droopy89, I believe these hoses are an upgrade on standard Yamaha hoses and are race quality. I'll get the blue Samco hoses for my 07 Fazer when the time comes. Thanks for the website link.:tup:

This week I got a set Yamaha tank decals in silver for an older model 1000. They are to go on my new lower cowl and silver will match my Cobalt blue with silver motor 07 Fazer. They are smaller than the R1 lower Yamaha decals and there part number is 99246-00160. Will show pics in new thread...

Hi Liter Machine, I got Goodridge race-routed S/S braided lines with upgrade to S/S polished ends. These are the Yamaha accessory upgrade on the official FZ1 Yamaha web site. All the brands mentioned in this thread are high quality and will better your braking by 50% or more.:)

Hi bigsqueals, I got my lower cowl from yamabits.co.uk . Also try commonwealthpowersports.com and oc yamaha. Good luck and if Norfolk is in the States you can get your lower cowl for about $390US but me being in New Zealand couldn't buy from oc as they had the best price.:)

The All Blacks won the Rugby World cup beating France last night. I hope aws can win bike of the month with his All Black FZ1. Thanks to all the countrys around the world who fielded teams in this tournament. This has been our biggest event (bigger than wining the Americas Cup in yachting)...

Hi Jboat, here in NZ we got both black and silver motors in 07 Fazers but now there all black motors. You guys in the States got the black motor FZ1s. Sorry you missed out on the best colour.:justkidding::shine: Go the ALL BLACKS!
