If you don't want the expense of the power commander I'd skip the airbox mod. Should be fine with the slipon, cat gut and filter but it surely would be better off with a PC and a proper tune.

I wouldn't be so sure about that, 2 reported on the other forum happened at 7000mi and 2600mi. Granted most were higher mileage but I would not overlook the stator just because of mileage. My local dealers mechanic told me he's done a bunch of stators for 04-06 R1's and Gen II FZ1's.

Think I've got them at HomeDepot and on ebay. Some are better than others. They come in REAL handy for all types of projects. This brand is quality https://www.scraperite.com/ They have 3 different blades. The orange is the most forgiving.

First thing I would do is check to see if you have any codes ( try the search feature if you don't know how ) Second, have the battery load tested and see if its good. If it turns out to be the battery .You may want to pull the stator cover and have a look before you try starting it...

They should have an adjustment for both horizontal and vertical. You could try using the horizontal adjustment and make a slight adjustment to the right AWAY from oncoming traffic . If the dealer checked the lights with the bike to close to the wall only a height issue will be apparent...

Hard to be sure from the pics but they seem WAY to high to me. I notice only the building looks lit up and no actual light on the ground at all.

Next time it happens, take your gloves off and feel how hot the fuel tank is .... CRAZY HOT ;) Check the tank heat BEFORE you add fuel :)

I'd take a REAL close look at the FCE connections. Try removing the power commander and if the issue continues remove the FCE. Double check the fuel line for a kink. The line has a sheath ( double walled ) and a kink can be hidden. Search fuel line mod for more info. Check the vent line for...
