Wow, His prices have gone up! I got Nevil to tune my bike 3 times after progressive mods (can and air filter, then full system, then post flash) I'd recommend getting your ECU flashed, get all the engine mods you want done (i.e. exhaust, air filter, air box if you want to do that flies etc.)...

The North American models didn't have the anti-theft enabled. That was only enabled on the European and Australasian models. So in all likelyhood, your bike never had the red key.

the other forum is FZ1OA. It has a lot more traffic than this one. This forum had to change the web address which caused a lot of users to fade away. It was unfortunate as this forum was the best for before that happened.

Upload the videos to youtube (or similar) and then copy the URL to the youtube video here. The other FZ1 forum has a lot more daily traffic than this one, you might find an answer on that forum quicker than here. Most users here are also over there.

Does it do this with the clutch pulled in? Has the Stator been replaced previously? which side of the engine is this coming from? There are lots of things this could be.

Yes and no. You can flash the ECU to map a tune for your bike and remove the restrictions and throttle snatch. but you can't plug a quickshifter into it. But then you can buy other quickshifters that don't need a PCV anyway. The advantage of a PCV is that you can easily access and change...

google tire de-gassing. Tires that sit on the shelf not being used go hard and lose their sticky grip. When you switch from a hard set to a new set, you will notice the difference. However if you don't push the limits of the tire, only run in warm weather, or don't lean too far in corners...

no issues at all, just take the Exup cables out and bolt the new one on. you can do a PCV at the same time if you want to, but it isn't needed to simply put an aftermarket can on.
