yeah, was directing it to dart, said he didn't have a fz1 yet. some people say they have the problem, some don't. haven't ever been on a 06 so couldn't tell you really how noticeable it is. Just saying if i was looking to buy one i would lean toward a newer model if i was wanting a 2nd gen.

2006, the first year for FI had a throttle snatch problem. So Dart, if your looking for a gen 2 I would look for a 07 up.

Any 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 inch strap type muffler clamp should work. I would get one of each and see which one fits the best. Either one will probably work because they adjust in and out.

Think of the resistor like a bulb. your signal wire which is hot goes into one side and the ground into the other. There is one blinker relay for the whole bike, it's under the passenger seat. If you are just running leds on the front and have your factory lights in the rear it may be pulling...

yep, its separate pieces.

did it myself with some color match ford paint from autozone, just silver metal in it rather than gold. don't get much sun under the tail to bring it out anyway. finish with 3 coats of clear an it looks ok for having 25 bucks in it. Still have my factory hugger, got this one off ebay for 10...

Finished up my fairing install...... Made some brackets for my old sliders, stuck on decals and bolted on my painted tire hugger.
