Dean Dinnetz has offers a R6 shock, complete with spring, ready to bolt in for $190. I weigh 225 and have it set to the mid spring position. Best upgrade since the new tires.

I'd like to hear more about the convitibars. I don't want to spend 3-4 Benjamin's to find they won't go low enough. Where does all the extra wire and brake hose go?

I want sliders for my Gen-1 but can't find them anywhere. I am thinking I could buy some large sliders and mount them with a threaded rod through the axle hole. Anyone have any other suggestions?
You don't know how much fun the track is unless you do it. It's a great way to learn a lot about yourself and your ride. No minivans and no radar. Your only competition is in your head. The prize at the end of the day is going home in one piece with the same shiny bike you brought that morning.
I'm still looking for frame sliders for my Gen1, but I also want something to protect the fairing. Lots of choices for a Gen2, not so much available for Gen1.
I just got a Ruger P95. Bought it because its kinda cheap and everyone that has one loves it. Now I see why. Reliable, accurate, well built. It's not real small so it may not be a great carry gun, but many do.
