    Yamaha Factory Tour

An Invincible FJR, the Relentless Rider and the Yamaha Factory Tour! tougeexpress / June 20, 2014 Not often a bike rolls over 200,000miles (320,000kilometres). Even rarer for all that riding to be under one rider. Similarly rare is a visit to the production line that pumped out the bike...

    R1 yokes ?

I searched high n low for an R1 top triple for upright bars with no success. That would have made things ALOT easier. Still searching actually... Bar end mirrors? Great. they take some getting used to but definitely sorted out the airflow problem I was having around my helmet at higher...

    R1 yokes ?

Alao couldn't find FZ1 parts so used 06 triples/yokes top and bottom to match the forks. Remember there being a bearing oddness that having the R1 and FZ1 bearings on hand fixed. Or was it dust seal? Anyway, switched to the Allballs taper bearings and haven't looked back. Most work was getting...

We need an new site logo.. Submit your ideas

This may not make me too popular but it needs to be said... I understand where yammy is coming from. The 'how could they?' And 'I'll never buy another yammy' talk is not good for anyone. Least of all the creator of our bikes which WE bought and praise. The owners of this site are walking a...

    heated levers

Seeing how quickly heated grips lose thier heat when not wrapped with a hand, the heating of the lever may be worse as it has no insulation. Interested to see what you come up with though.

Don't let a little snow keep you home

Sorry Hellgate, never been to the US. Guam doesn't count, right? I'm from Australia so can only use that as an example. I've found that restaurants there tend to focus on high-end or locally acceptable tastes. Sushi and teriyaki for example. If you pay enough, the quality is good and the taste...

Don't let a little snow keep you home

Me too Stretched. He had a lot of pain in the leg squished between the Suzi and the FZ1. Seemed nothing was broken and being the trouper he is, he kept walking on it and moving to get the good juices flowing to repair any damage. Adding a photo of the battered Suzi. Also, Bro reports: The...

Don't let a little snow keep you home

The sky was blue and after a coast run with a sprinkle of snow, we headed inland and found more snow. A lot more! Got a little snow fever which lead us to this friggin enermous temple All that snow burned up a lot of energy so we went to a local old style eatery. Initially had the...

    Melted Gauges?

Agree with Loosenut and Blanchy, you can swap internals easily enough so keep an eye out for a used one. Are both the front and back halves of the meter case melted?

    Coast to Coast Twistybutt 2014

This'll be our 4th official local coast to coast. For the last 2 years we've had over a dozen riders. 2011 was a quiet affair as it was only a couple of months after the big earthquake and tsunami.
