It was great meeting Pete, Johnny and Carrie too! Here is a quick link to a 45 second vid of some of the bikes at Cycle Max... Shot by Lexi! B Cycle Max Group Ride July 2012 - YouTube

    Pennsylvania Ride Thread

Great time indeed. It was good to see everyone again. And yes, the old dog is still a great ride. I will post up some pics later as well.

    Uneven Tirewear, Suspension?

Highly recommend taking it to a race shop to have the bike measured. This will tell the story. Also, any shaking or trembling when riding? You mentioned a pulling characteristic, but is the bike shaking on braking at all? Finally, are you in the US in San Fran or outside of US where you are...

Exactly what he said. And always start from the stock settings on the clickers.

Wifey Upgrade from Ninja 250 to MV Agusta Brutale

Yes Wifey's ride is a 750 as listed above. The 675 Brutale hasn'tbeen released yet. Still waiting for F3 to arrive in this country to take a look. If you can only have one bike the MV probably is not the right choice since you'll find youself sitting in the garage admiring it and cleaning...

Wifey Upgrade from Ninja 250 to MV Agusta Brutale

Thanks! Also, one less U in it: Agusta Lucky for me she still hasn't done any trackdays and such so I can probably take her with the 250 while she cruises at 55mph! Some people were asking, so I'll post up that it's an inline 4. 749cc, fuel injected, about 430lbs wet weight, approx...

Wifey Upgrade from Ninja 250 to MV Agusta Brutale

Troy, my wife checked out the Ninja 650 and just felt like the bike was too top-heavy and tippy. Seemed very manageable but for a shorter person I would think much of the weight will be high compared to where she would like it. I really wanted the Ninja 650 to be the perfect bike for her but...

Wifey Upgrade from Ninja 250 to MV Agusta Brutale

Ha! Brother, yes... Single, no.... He rides a Harley though, so it probably wouldn't be a great match. Not to mention I'm much better looking! :)

Wifey Upgrade from Ninja 250 to MV Agusta Brutale

The prep is way worse than the procedure. Had to start that stuff at 35 due to my family's history. Try being 35 and talking with your friends about it... :embarrased:

Wifey Upgrade from Ninja 250 to MV Agusta Brutale

You know as well as I do how many hours I must have had to beat my head against the wall teaching my wife how to ride PROPERLY! :banghead: I'm only happy when she lets me ride it, and she checks the bike for bugs or dirt almost nightly. I do love that she rides so I can stick our daughter...

Wifey Upgrade from Ninja 250 to MV Agusta Brutale

Anyone who loves to ride as much as I do wouldn't care if it was a Harley or a crazy V-Max like crazy Dave has...I'll ride anything. And don't think you're getting off the hook that easily...I'm hoping to sample your YZF someday too you know!

    The Hawk Has Landed

UNBELIEVABLE! That's why it was the only thing I didn't restore to stock. Had Kerker stuff on so many bikes over the early 90s I had to get one for the Hawk. I can't even remember how many miles were on it when I sold it, about 5K, and I gave her away for $3,500 when I moved out of FL to...

    The Hawk Has Landed

Hey, I neutered myself 60 days after marriage! :) :nana: She was there when I bought it though so I'm off the hook...Not to mention it was FOR HER! :)

Wifey Upgrade from Ninja 250 to MV Agusta Brutale

I think I'd upgrade myself to that first Billy! What can I say? I love the Wifey and she loves the MV, so there you have it. Besides, you know you can ride anything in the garage Billy. b

Wifey Upgrade from Ninja 250 to MV Agusta Brutale

Well, the time finally came to upgrade the wife (bad eye and all) :flash: After looking at a new Triumph Street Triple R and deciding it wasn't time since it's being redesigned for next year, and then at a Ducati Monster 796 and hating the idea of paying $11,300 for a 60HP air-cooled V-Twin...

    The Hawk Has Landed

Johnny: Bike looks awesome. I took on a similar project years ago and thought you would want to see how mine came out. Didn't have many problems and wanted to keep her mostly original except for the exhaust. Here's the pics when I was MOSTLY done. There's always something to do. So...

    Happy Birthday....

Hey guys (and Brenda)! Thanks so much for sending this. I hadn't been on in a while until Billy told me you guys put this up. I really appreciate it. Been crazy busy with the R6 track bike, put a PZ Racing GearTronic 2 Gear Indicator/shift light on the FZ1, bought the next bike for the...
