Had HEL on mine when I had it. Took a few pictures back then;
They sat just right with no chaffing. I used the stock lowr holders but nothing under the triples.
It is Said.
That if you don't crash in the dirt, you aren't trying hard enough. You also never expand your limits if you don't find and exceed them.
That said, good job, and I'm glad she is fine.
Don't feel bad, only a full on dirt-bike knobbie would give you any amount of confidence in slippery mud. A TKC front would have been a bit better in that, but not much. Boys never really outgrow wanting to play in the dirt, do we.
Not a bad backyard, I'll admit. I was cruising along one of the more spectacular back roads yesterday, thinking about how fortunate I was to live so close to such a beautiful place.
Added to the odometer
A full day riding today;
Early morning solo exploring on the way to meet the guys.
Turned back by an illegal locked gate.
The old wood decked single lane bridge at Cochrane Alberta.
At the meeting place, Warren texted me saying he had a flat along the way. We...
Low Beam replacement
After 45,600 kms, my low beam died (on the way to work in the dark). I have had to replace the high beam once in 102,200 kms, but this is the third low beam. I blame it on the off-road that I do. Just put in an H7 Ultra Sylvania.

Good luck to all.
Let see what you've got!
For those new...
Lytehouse looks after that and it will be up soon.
You are a brave man with the FZ, and well done for not being afraid to get off the beaten path to get some great pictures! Wales is beautiful, it was my favorite area around England when I made it over there a decade ago.
Got her a little dirty
Nice start to April.
Looking for Little Red Riding Hood.
Traffic Was hell.
Still some swampy stuff around, but no surprise at this time of year.
Checked out some serious hardware.
You will see a post on May BOTM (Member Bike Of The Month) "Uploads Enabled". Just follow the link and upload one when you do. For past months go to the Gallery to see who has won before.
New marketing campaign from Yamaha; FREE Vasectomy with every new bike! Never stop riding (other than a few days after said Vasectomy)
It should have the young guys lining up......
I used to haul brisket to Texas from Alberta by the truck load. Little out of the way smoke houses. I loved the smell of those places!
Tube steaks and Ketchup; remindes me of a scene in a Dirty Harry Movie with him showing his disgust at the combination.
Just about all electronic tach displays do this as a start up test. My gen 2 did it, but just a single sweep.
If the Gen 1 uses a facet fuel pump then the ticking is just how they sound. We have a Bobcat with a facet pump that does that.
