We didn't get ash in Northern California as most blew east of the mountain but for a couple years the sunsets were extra colorful from the fine particle ash in the upper atmosphere.

That must be an old Shell statement, my Rotella bottles have had that rating for quite some time. I have met too many old farts that have used Rotella in all their motors for many years with out problems. Works just fine and I save $$ for riding more. It's more about clean oil vs dirty oil.

Rotella has a JSMO motorcycle rating. I know a boat load of guys who have used it in their bikes (many makes) with no problems. I use the Rotella dino in all my motors and the Synthetic in my 990. Nice clean up job, can I drop off a few bikes? ;)

Wouldn't catch me riding in that contraption but it would be nice for a dog to take on your rides.

+1 and it won't show the dirt/grime as easy as the gold. I'd rather be riding than cleaning.

Welcome and nice bike. Stick with the stock mirrors for a while before you decide to change them, they do work very well in traffic when you need to keep an eye on what is behind you.

Well said, it's still close to 500 pounds in the dirt. I'll stick to pavement with my Supermoto 990.
