Changed the oil. Looks like Mobil 1 15-50w Walmart 1.25 gal. jug is still the best value @ $28. Five minute job, drain on the side stand and check on the center stand.
You need to tap/cut into a hot wire for power. If you connect directly to the battery it can run it down after two weeks of sitting because if the constant power drain while in hibernation.
OEM is nothing spectacular. I would assemble what you need from a Harbor Freight ching chong set and hope you never need it. I have never used mine and only once needed it for my Ninja about 5 years ago.
I am more directly interested in the downshifts rather than the upshifts, although I can use either to get what is needed. Mostly to avoid going to neutral thinking I was downshifting to second to make a turn.
$19 is dirt cheap. If it works I will buy one same day. There is one guy on YouTube that installed his inside the tach.

Rode it 15 minutes to a Honda auto dealer to get some ATF for my car. The ride along the Indian River cancelled out any aggravation of needing to top off my Honda.
