New York Safety Track Shut Down?

I remember seeing that deal. I think you'll probably be able to get your money back from Groupon if the merchant can't honor the deal...

2013 Member Bike of the Year - Winner Matt C.

    Fork seal tool

As the others have said...buy the right tool for the job. I too have driven in seals w/o the proper tool and really it's not worth the hassle. As for the correct seal driver it's a 43mm one...

New York Safety Track Shut Down?

Well that sucks for sure! However, I'm not surprised by this turn of events...

You're not kidding about that!!! I wouldn't even dream of getting on my bike ride now to go for a spin...brrrrr

    Spark Plugs

True for the most part, but the Iridium (and platinum before them) came into being mainly so that the auto manufacturers could ensure emission compliance for 100k miles.

    Spark Plugs

Well I can tell you first hand that the Iridium plugs will last a long time. My Honda Accord came with them from the factory and when I replaced them at 100k miles they still looked practically new with no noticeable electrode wear. I would imagine even on the FZ1, which revs a lot higher and...

    RZ350 is Home! Restoration Begins

Yea, no new updates until the Spring at this point...it's freakin' cold around here lol

    Yamaha Registers "YZF-R3" Trademark

I would think they (Yamaha) would be fools not to sell it here in the US given how well the Ninja 300 and CBR 250 have been selling.

    R-77

Looks like the hardest part is taking it apart w/o damaging it, especially if you have the carbon fiber one.

Today Only - Michelin Power Pure for $80

At that price it's probably worth trying it out if you need a rear tire.

    2014 FZ-09 anyone?

I saw one of the British magazines (can't remember which one) calling it the most important bike since the CBR900...pretty high praise if you ask me!

FZR750 Man I want this one...

No experience with the 750, but I think it was very similar to the bigger FZR1000 of the same era. It was just Yamaha's homologation special.

    2014 FZ-09 anyone?

Nice bike...I'm sure a bigger variant will be out soon enough if this one sells well.

    New Addition to Stable!

Have been quite busy recently so not much to update other than I have acquired some parts to spruce up the bike. Mostly better cosmetic stuff and some replacement parts that were missing. Also got a new Shorai battery as the previous one was run dry on a couple of cell and was junk. Figured it...

    2014 Yamaha Street Lineup

I really doubt there will be a Gen III, especially now that the FZ8 is gone. I predict the FZ1 will be gone soon and it will be replaced by the FZ11 triple...it only makes sense since Yamaha invested in a new triple.

looking to trade my lars ir box for a stock air box

#9 is the part that you mod. I have not seen or heard of any mods to the airbox lid (#10).

    Best price on pr3?

Yea, my '06 came stock with Pilot Roads. I have seen them and the Dunlops as OEM tires on the FZ1.

    Best price on pr3?

Since you want a SP tire and you don't really experinece any wet weather conditions a better tire for you would be the Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart II. It's cheaper and slightly better in the dry than the PR3... That's what I'm running on my FZ1, but honestly with the limited mileage I've put on...
