Here you go Pete!
HARD RACING PERFORMANCE / HARD CORE SPORTS SHOPPING CART - Yamaha Ohlins Shocks, RD 350 LC 83-88
Joe (jwhelan65) posted on the RZ forum that he was able to order one earlier this week so I wouldn't wait to place the order.
I wouldn't lose sleep over it at this point. The number of bikes affected were rather small.
When I bought it in '09 I was not aware of the frame cracking issue. My '06 has alsmost 10k miles and no issues with the frame so far so I'm thinking mine is going to be ok.
Just watched the race again! As good as that win was for Rossi I loved watching Marquez and Crutchlow battling it out. IMHO they are the two most exciting racers to watch right now and great for MotoGP ;)
Yea, the boost in mid-range power is very noticeable. Best bang for the buck! That front wheel will come up easily now just by rolling on the throttle :D
Oh sounds like you'll be ready to start tearing it apart when it arrives. I hope to get my chassis squared away by Friday and then I'll take the motor apart. Not sure what I am going to do with it yet, but I like your plan :D
I may just put on new seals and call it a day for now depending on...
Well since you already got the slip-on and K&N filter I would go with this one:
Part # FZ-0102MB...$120.00 For off road use only
Requires K+N air filter
I suppose if you can afford it the ported boots are also a nice "upgrade".
I got done at around 10 PM tonight so it was too dark for pics. Figured tomorrow I'd get the wheels mounted and then roll it outside, bolt on the side and center stands and take some pics :D
Well today I made good progress!!!
Got the forks, fork brace and front fender on. Front fender needs to go on before front wheel as once wheel is on there is not enough clearance to put in the bolts that hold it to the forks.
At the rear I got the rear swingarm all ready to accept the wheel...
Yea, with all the other choices out there there is no need to be mucking around with the filter. K & N really need to get their quality control issue rectified. I have used their filters in the past w/o any issues, but on the FZ1 I went with a BMC and it fits great
