well that's a wrap on 2025.
Grats to Bez for closing it out on a high note for Aprilla. If Martin stays healthy Aprilla might be able to take it to Ducati next year and give us a closer championship.
It was really disappointing to see the series end with so many races left in the year.
I said it many years ago and will repeat it now. MM was successful for many years because he was the only one willing to ride ON THE LINE instead of just inside of it. That is why he got some black flags early in his career and took out his teammate Dani Pedroza in some races.
The commentators...
If MM Retired this year it would be great for the sport - but I think he feels the need to prove he is better than Rossi and stay in the game and keep winning. Considering how much he seems to hate Rossi I do not doubt he will do just that.
The racing this weekend was the best of the season...
not sure if that is Irony or not - but the more I watch it the less I think Bez should have been penalized. The stupid Aero creates drafts even in turns and it looked like he just got sucked in. Bez was stupid fast yesterday in Practice... holy cow. I am excited for Qualifying today.
You can tell it was not intentional, looked like Bezz got sucked into the slip stream a bit and he was trying to back out of it and let Marc back in. Marc also had a wider line and swept across the front tire of Bezz - neither was to blame - it was a racing incident.
The championship race would...
I was asleep when it happened - I swear!
But it does show you just how hard it is to win a race if you do not qualify well and have an accident in the pack take you out. Marc's ability to qualify well and start up front certainly helps with his consistency.
They have quicker turn around time for changes.
Something that Japan is trying to catch up on.
Pretty impressive for Yamaha to get a brand new V4 out the door so quick - hopefully they can make it work quickly as well.

2003 Yamaha FZ1 - 140k miles - Salvage Title due to dent in the tank from a car knocking it off the center stand in a parking garage. This has been a great bike for me and I hope it will continue to be a great bike for you. One of my photos is a list of maintenance records...
The best part of Today's Race was seeing Jorge Martin move up the pack and look more comfortable on the Aprilla. If he can get into a groove he can fight MM for the top. Bez has ben great at leading races - but he is just missing that little edge that MM has to keep the pace up the entire race.
Red Bull Ring has never been a good track for anyone but Ducati due to the extreme stop n go nature of the thing.
this season has been a snooze fest. MotoGP would be better without MM in it - we would have a nearly 3 way battle for the Title going if he was not in it.
Instead the championship...
That is how I mostly do it with mine. My 2003 has 138k miles on the clock and my stalling issues all have to do with Winter Blend Gas and colder temps. During the summer with Summer blend I never have any issues.
