I haven't been able to find an FZ-1 specific video on spring replacement but I'll be doing one next month for sure, not that your going to wait that long.
Ditto! I'm with Dustin. Keep the beast around you handy for when the need arises. Happy to hear about all your plans. I wish you, Michelle, and the kids all the very best!
That sucks Mike. I've been watching these as they were being posted on YouTube. Glad your okay. What's the chance you were recording when you lost the rear?
Talk about being "way up here" and then "dejected" all in the same breath!!! Vale was surely banging his head on the wall after that race. I guess though if your not hanging it all out, your not winning. Still a bummer.
Is it me or is the "Like This Post" button not working? We just installed Windows 10 here at work and ever since I've noticed this glitch. Coincidence maybe?
Trust me, the only way your gonna find a set is from someone who is selling theirs. It took me almost three years but I finally scored a set and had to get the hardware from a second purchase. They do come up for sale every now and then so keep looking. You'll love the look once it's on. Good luck.
Just remember that a Flash is gonna set you back a couple hundred dollars right there. Bolt on parts, to me, are not going to justify that kind of price. Not for an 06' anyway. In the end though, the bike is worth what someone is willing to pay. These FZ-1's come up all the time. Keep looking...
I bought my 09' with 1,200 miles on her 3 years ago for $5,100 bucks. I feel that there are better deals for later model FZ-1's out there if you look. Just my two cents.
If your tank was "up" for any or all of the install, I'd say that your fuel line was inadvertently kinked when it was put back down. Very common occurrence I'm afraid. Check it out.
