    New to FZ1,,, querys

I would check for any kinks in the cable routing as well as lubing it up. For an 03', who knows when it was lubed last. As for the shuddering, try some Sea Foam in the gas and run it for a few miles. The carbs may need a cleaning and also synched up.

Bugatti’s 3D Printed Brake Caliper and Its Implications

I'm not really up on all this 3d printing stuff but I do know that they are expensive pieces of machinery, and small items take hours to complete. Unless they have come up with speedier machines, I can't see them replacing the methods of manufacturing that are being used now. Then again, I may...

    Hello from Southwest Florida, USA

Welcome Marshall, and congrats on the new ride. I've heard about those straight Florida roads! Won't get rid of those chicken strips that way! LOL. I guess track days are a good option but sometimes a bit pricy. In any case, congrats and welcome.

    New to me, 2014 FZ1

Welcome and congrats on the new ride. The 16T front sprocket from the Gen1 is indeed a direct fit for the 2nd Gen bikes. I would definitely buy a OEM Stock front sprocket and get the new washer as well. I'm sure that the 2 black keys are the original keys and the red one is probably a copy the...

Conventional vs Synthetic in my recent experiance

I've been using the Yamaha Semi Synthetic oil on my 09' for the last two changes and have been happy with it. I do however, notice some notchiness in the shifting as I get close to 3k.

Halocam M1 Motorcycle Dashcam Installation & Review

I've seen this advertised elsewhere and was really thinking about getting one. Just lots of wires to route with little room. Thanks for posting this one Dennis!

    Starting Issue

Coil packs?, Spark Plugs? All connections are tight and carb boots are not cracked or brittle? Just a preliminary thought.

I saw that vid the other day Pete! I hope you have a Go Pro for some onboard stuff!! I'd love to see that. It sounds nasty as heck.

    Air Filters - K&N - DNA - BMC

When I had the bike flashed they swapped in a BMC and it works just fine. How it stacks up to the others, I do not know. I haven't had any issues.

    Tommy's FZ1 '06 Build

Hey Mike, after looking further at the website I have a question. Is it the "Rotor Assembly" or the "Stator Assembly" which loses the magnets?

    Site Speed

Well, I will say that I indeed notice a big difference in speed. Here at work on our crappy computers, I'm flying along here on the site. Very nice!

Yep, I went on Partshark and that's about right, $345.00 I think I'm still going to get it and replace it this winter. At the same time I'll order a 16T front sprocket as well. Thanks for all the info Mike.
