Well if you want to give away the credit for the lowered price I'll take it. I was one of the bikers headed to Port Dover. Too bad you couldn't make it, it was a great turnout. It was my first trip there, I couldn't believe the number of bikes completely taking over that small town. Where in...
It was a great turnout especially considering the forecast (they were calling for scattered showers). It was sunny in the morning but clouded over mid afternoon and cooled off quite a bit. But the rain held off so it was good overall for mid September.
I was just wondering if anybody here was planning to go to the "Friday The
13th" bike rally in Port Dover Ontario? For those who don't know about it, it takes place every Friday the 13th in Port Dover Ontario no matter what month it is. Needless to say the January ones don't generate quite the...
I don't know about the rest of you, but when I ordered my Top Sellerie they dropped the price of the seat to compensate for the shipping price. But if you're going to be there you may as well look at the seat and test it to see if it's to your liking. We all have different tastes when it comes...
I installed a Top Sadlery seat (I blame Cobalt lollolup) over the winter. Now I'm just waiting for a chance to try it out on a long trip, it's great on short trips. It's way more comfortable than stock so far.
Congratulations on the new addition to your family. They do have a tendency to change the way we look at things. Now to keep a eye open for good deals on small dirt bikes lol!:thewave:
I have a Yamaha XT 350. Not as powerfull as my son's WR 250F but it is still fun to ride in the dirt. It is nice and light with a twin carb system for extra punch in the bottom end. It seems to be more geared towards dirt riding or dirt roads than highway riding. I wouldn't want to take it on a...
Changed from a 17 to 16 tooth front sprocket, so I also added a Speedo DRD. While I had the tank lifted, I wired in a lighter socket to run my GPS with a 3 position fuse block so that I ca add other stuff later with ease. Also added a helmet lock like the one that you can only get in Japan. Will...
Great pictures, and I'm also jealous of your weather. We're supposed to be getting a winter storm tonight with 6-10 inches of snow. I also like your little history lesson, I'm looking forward to my retirement years and riding down south to look at these landmarks in person.:sport12:
They're definitely nice bikes with good little motors, I have one for sale as we speak. My only problem with them is the lack of an oil filter, so make sure that you change the oil frequently.
Give any red blooded man a vehicle with plenty of horsepower and if he's still breathing he will become a "redneck" for a little while. What's the sense of living if you're not having a little fun along the way? :nothing:
I ordered a collection of ends with extra inserts from Eastern Beaver and with an order just over $20 the shipping was under $8. I'm used to doing electrical on vehicles and hate splicing wires. Up here in the north the salt they use on the roads in winter always kill the wires in a splice. I...
Best of luck on selling all of your items. I would have loved the bags, but after having just bought a Top Saddlery seat, it's a little out of my range until I get back to work.:doh2:
