Finding parts?

Hello everyone,
I’m new to this. I recently picked up a 2013 fz1 with 3500 miles on it. Within last couple months I’ve rode about 1.5k to get the feel. About two weeks ago an unfortunate circumstance occurred and a vehicle ran a stop sign and forced me to hit the brakes a bit and ended up dropping my baby bike. The vehicle didn’t stop or anything and I now have a couple parts needing to be replaced. With the sad truth out of the way I’m having a vary difficult time finding replacements outside of Yamahas site which you pay for every washer, bolt and nut. I’ve been thinking of changing color and adding aftermarket anyways a little at a time. However it’s now got to be all at once and get it done! I’ve looked everywhere on the net and am finding nothing for 2013 fz1 front cowling, tank, or even conversion kits. Please help, I want to work on it this winter and get it perfect for next riding season!

So does this mean I have to buy each part individually?

Unfortunately, yes. I recently had to replace my shifter side bracket after getting side swiped. The little damper bushings had to be ordered separately.

If you can order everything as "a piece", it will have a number denoting that and show all the included parts being surrounded by a broken line...

Thanks for that. This definitely blows. Any idea where I can get actual aftermarket parts to personalize my bike? I mean things like a bigger gas tank, grips or better clutch/brake levers or performance parts? I’ve checked for a couple sites like revzilla, Yamahanation, cyclepartsnation and webike and have found little for true customization options. It seems like fz1 isn’t all that good. …. Which sucks cause I like my bike. I mean it really seems like it’s a solid bike for touring with the balls to keep up with a lot of street bikes.

The best thing you can do is get Ivan's reflash, and at the very least a slip on, delete your AIS etc etc. I have pazzo levers and steel braided lines, Sargent seat, Givi Topcase, etc etc
