    2014 FZ-09 anyone?

I went out for a test ride on Friday on the MT-09 as they call it here in the UK, and it was a very good bike. I did find it lacked a bit of character though. The exhaust note is very bland, not like the Triumphs I have ridden, but I guess that can be changed easily. The bike is very much in...

Isle of Man TT 2013 vids

It's mad Sunday every day for 2 weeks now. They make the mountain section one way for the 2 weeks as it stops everybody going mad on just the one day. There is no national speed limit on certain road sections all year round anyway. Anybody can ride the circuit when it's not closed for racing...

    Noisy Front Folks

Ive noticed the same thing on my 2010 Fazer, I thought it was the brake pads rattling in the calipers? Steve

    CHP Lane Splitting Guidelines

I live in the UK and until recently I never realised filtering (lane splitting) wasn't legal in a lot of other countries. One of the reasons I love biking is that I don't have to wait in traffic! Seems like a "no brainer" to me. Steve

Don't test ride a Ducati you will fall in love.

Thanks for the comments. I de-restricted it just after I got it. Removed the restrictors in the exhausts, and re-jetted the carbs. I had it on a dyno and it produced 72bhp at the back wheel, which is about right for the RD500LC. So it's not that powerful, but it's the way the power comes in that...

Don't test ride a Ducati you will fall in love.

I think the latest generation of Ducatis are pretty good now. We have the following bikes in the club, Panigale, Diavel, Multistrada, 848, 848 Streetfighter, and they have all been 100% reliable, each covering 4000-5000 miles so far. Don't forget Audi now own the brand, and will surely improve...

Don't test ride a Ducati you will fall in love.

Yes this is my RZV500R, it's a Japanese import, it's done about 5000 miles, and it's me re-living my youth! I really wanted a RD350LC, but I am yet to find a good one for the right price.

Don't test ride a Ducati you will fall in love.

The MS and the Diavel are both great bikes and the Diavel as you say just puts the biggest grin on your face, what an engine! The MS is the best all round bike though, it's fast, comfortable, and it handles. The only thing that annoys me is the keyless ignition, a few times its failed to work...

    Not your typical R6!

I had a RD350LC (1981 non YPVS) back in 82, it had be tuned and it was the best bike I ever owned, so much fun for so little money! You guys in the states can still get a bargain, a decent RD350LC (non YPVS) over in the UK can go for up to 9,000 dollars. I did see an exceptional one this year, 2...

    Not your typical R6!

Yes it's a work of art, there are some other great projects on that site as well. I'm keeping mine standard I prefer the contrast with a modern bike. You don't have to go quite as fast to get a thrill from riding it, modern bikes are just too good sometimes. Steve

    Gen 1 to fz8

I think your being a bit unfair to the Ducati 848, it's a great bike. I love the 848 for its looks and because it is so different to my Gen II FZ1. I have ridden one many times, once in the hills of Scotland for a day covering over 250 miles, and it fitted me like a glove, and that's from...

Memories of a bike long gone...

Just managed to get my dream bike from the 80's. Its a RZV500R from Japan I picked it up last week. Its only one 4200 miles and is in very good condition. The brakes could do with improving though! Steve
