I ride a 2007 flashed it myself and loved the results. Anyone here know if one can use the 20014 table and maps for a 2007? These later maps have more control.

Also the quoted 140-145 would be engine output, not rear wheel.

It's not the oil but the additive package in the oil that you need to be concerned with.

Seems to me that after a motorcycle (Or any engine with a radiator) has stopped running the coolant will not be circulating. So a fan running after the fact will cool the coolant in the radiator and not the coolant surrounding the engine. A box fan aimed directly at the engine may well cool it...

I understand that the first three gears are retarded by the ECU up to a certain (?) rev speed. But you're right it doesn't lift up like it should. I'm wondering if it was a ploy by Yamaha to keep inexperienced riders out of the emergency room.

Pull the rubber grip off of the throttle. Underneath will be a plastic tube attached to the throttle cable that lives over the handle bar, lube the whole thing up good including a little light oil into the cable outer tube and reassemble.

Try a can of Techron. Iv'e used it for numerous vehicles and it's always smoothed things out for me. Will clean your injectors.

Wtf Not to put too fine a point on it, NOT falling off a two wheel motor cycle at speed is part of the appeal. The danger associated with riding is a great buzz. If one want's a danger free experience perhaps a walk in the park?
