You won't regret the FCE. My bike would POP just after changing gears and reapplying the throttle. Doing that mod and the AIS block off (decel popping) cured those problems completely. It's funny, some people like all that backfiring and popping. To me, it just sounds like an "Out of Tune"...
I have and 08 FZ1. I first started modding with the TRC slip on and the AIS block off. The sound was great but I was still getting a little decel popping and a pop right after I would change the gears and re-apply the throttle. So I did a little digging and went to Ivan's website. The...
What Locktite threadlocker are you guys using to hold the screws in on the subthrottle plates. I've got some "Blue" which is low strength. Do I need the high strength "Red". I'm pretty sure there's a medium strength red also. Also, where is the section on this forum for all the available...
I did read on Ivan's website that it's supposed to get rid of the pop. I just don't want to invest in the unit and it not get rid of it. Anybody out there have the FCE with a slip on and block off with no PCIII and did it get rid of the pop.
I need to abbreviate my first statement. I went riding today. It pops after I have shifted and just cracking the throttle. I have no surging and the bike is smooth otherwise.
Can a FCE help fix my acceleration popping. It only happens between gears, just once in a awhile. I do have a Yoshi TRC slip on and I also have AIS block off plates installed. I don't get any decel popping. My bike is an 08 with no other mods except slip on and block off. Thanks.
Please...
Anybody have a "How To" on TB Syncing on a Gen II FZ1. I've got Mercury sticks and have done it on Carbed bikes. Is the 08 FZ1 adjusted mechanically or electronically. Guess I just need to get a Manual.
I'm 6'2. I considered getting a VFR before the FZ1. The FZ1 was much more comfortable to me. I was leaning on my palms to much on the VFR. I bought a used 08 and couldn't be happier! Lots of power. I also bought Satan's Highway Pegs. To me, these things are a must for the long haul. I...
