It may be hard finding a good used tank. I’ve had good luck with diluted phosphoric acid and some ball bearings. I soaked it over night and shook it around several times and the inside came out looking great. Check YouTube for tutorials…

The can may fit with the FZ1 specific mid pipe, but the input diameter may not be the same. I'd check out Delkevic Exhaust for a great selection of exhaust options for the FZ1...

I know some have installed an FZ8 tail section. It looks a little better and gets rid of the handles… I doubt an R6 tail would fit without extensive fabrication and subframe changes…
