2003-2007 SV 650 risers are the years that works for sure on the GEN II. Maybe other years work too but other people may know better than me.

Did you remove both sides of the original frame bolts at the same time? If so, maybe the engine moved slightly down and is not allowing the new bolts to go in all the way. Maybe you can try jacking up the motor slightly from both sides at the same time, just enough so the holes align.

I have Pazzo's on my B-king and the cheap chinese ones on my FZ. They seem about the same to me and I would buy them again. I have not had any problems with the cheap ones, I love them!

Absolutely true. You can buy out of state bikes but make sure they have more than 7500 miles on them or the CA DMV won't allow you to register it.
