You know you're right! The stock headlight is attractive in the buff. However, the guage cluster and the other little bits are untidy. Im looking for a lead on streetfighter kits known to work with Gen 1s. Maybe just a web site?
I just dropped my '03 Bumblebee in the yard! I had it on the centerstand while I cleaned the front tire. When I turned my back on the old girl she fell! Her top had a wardrobe malfunction! So we are going naked. Any suggestions or point me in the right direction for streetfighter swag?
Yeah, unfortunatly I did! I was trying to find a gas leak on the bottom of the carbs. I started to removed it chicked out, tightened it, then when I restarted the bike realized it was to tight by the sound!
Most people I talk to are harping on the severity of the injuries and odds of fatal trauma! The ratio of vehicles vs accidents is mostly irrelevant! The court of public opinion (non-riders) is what matters? Be safe and try not piss off the wrong driver! If you must piss them off, do it well!
Feel the love!
I love this site. Devoted to a most deserving machine. I havent yet gotten tired or sore, the ride only ends cause I get where I'm going! It is cool to hear other people who appreciate this wonderous machine and join the forum!
Dani, thanks for sharing the pics! I took a ride at Road Atlanta but only for one lap. That wasn't enough, I want more. Your post is a thrill, thanks. By the way I also go by the name of Danny with a little irish flavor!
I removed a little rubber from the rear wheel, and lifted the front one just a bit! An added benifit was some sun for my teeth. I had really good time riding!
Bumblebee luv
I have ridden my 03 fz for about a week and its the best. The fizzer is more agile than the bandit 12 and loads more power than the Ninja 500 (1st new bike). Sadly I am having carb problems. Maybe bad gas? Idles rough, sputters, and dies. I drained the tank, next Im removing the...
I want to do most of my own work on my bike. However, when I dont have the tools or when I'm in over my head I call for help. Steve Suggs of Albany Cycle Performance is my guy. Steve really knows bikes and people. Refreshing change from all the death metal, tattoo, nose ring 20yr old! He works...
Well done, Good sir!
That really is good looking seat, and the price is unreal. Is it waterproof it looks almost perferated? Sturdy? Wish I had seen it before I ordered mine!
