Now ive had great luck with Samco in the past on bikes and cars, but just wanted to see if anyone had any first hand experience on them with our bikes.. Now heres the kit im looking at, and yes its fairly pricey, but i was thinking tax money present for myself..

Hey Droopy, I don't know what mods you have or if you are after some eye appeal but holy cow thats a lot of cash for some hoses.

There was a member from the UK that had installed a set of blue ones on his bike a while back, but I can't find the thread...

If you want to spend that kind of money on them and you've used them in the past there's nothing unique about the FZ1 that would keep them from performing as they should.

As of now, shes just got a slip on from the PO, but got a few things in the works, and really i was wanting some pics if anyone had them

What color is your FZ and what color were you thinking for the hoses?

Silver and Black, think its called a Skunk, and was leanin towards the black hoses

IMO if you are going to buy black hoses for that price. you can probably buy something that makes the bike stand out some and make a performance difference that you can feel.

Any suggestions? its a Gen1 btw, need to update my sig, lol, but i was also thinking of other things i could do and refresh i was planning on taking out the rad/flushing it all, while i remove the AIS

Great places to start are brakes and/or suspension. Exhaust with a Ivans jet kit will make her a beast.

Ivans over Dales? ive been reading a few mixed reviews for both sides

I cant answer as to which is better as far as jet kits but I don't think you will find any issues with Ivans. I know some people with bike other than the FZ who have his kit and have been very happy with results. I think if you do a search or post in the Gen I section you will get some great info.

I would just hate to se ya spend 250.00 on hoses.

ya got a point, but a jet kit is in store for sure soon, and possibly some pod filters

250.00 could be a sweet set of brake rotors up front or pads and braided lines.

Brake flush and braided lines are pretty high on my want list

If you have never has braided lines and good pads you will be in for a big surprise.

They've made a huge difference on my truck, i can only imagine how big theyd be on the bike!
