What did you do to your FZ today?

I put the cover back on it. 100+ degrees is not conducive to ridding very much. I did take her downtown yesterday to watch Moto GP at Lovejoy's with Fred. :nana:

"Home to all sorts of artists, hippies, bikers, crackpots, yuppies, working stiffs, techies, philosophers, freight hoppers, preppies (well, not many, but if one came in we would be nice to her), None-Brights, politicos, literati, fence cutters, and former dot-com millionaires for over thirteen years! Daily Happy Hour 4-8. Drink Specials, Free Pool, Free Jukebox. Sunday - Happy Hour All Day! MotoGP on the big screen, Capt. Jim spinning reggae, dub, dancehall, etc all night. Monday - Free Pool, Free Jukebox. Tuesday - Glassware Giveaway. Wednesday - Pop Noir (DJs). Thursday - Free Live Music (see schedule below), $2 drink specials."

I put a down payment on a 2007 Cobalt Blue with 1700 miles on it. :deal: It has a Corbin front seat on it (and original comes too), has original front windshield and comes with a touring windshield (not sure on the brand).

I rode it to redline in 1st and hit 86, then went up to about 107 in 3rd before deciding I didn't want a ticket. Then I puttered around in 6th, trying to find my way back to the dealership. : oops:

I'm so happy to be getting the bike I've wanted for years! :cloud9: As much as I appriciated my Father-in-law loaning me his older Honda cruiser on occation, I just hated the forward controls and lack of being able to turn or lean! He has since sold that and now has a Yamaha TW200 (a fun bike).

Thanks to all who post and especially those the manage this site. I'm happy to be a part of it. Ride safe. :sport12:

I am on afternoon shift this week so myself and two other guys from work went for a ride in the Nasho this morning. It was awesome, no traffic or cops.
Man I really need to get a 16T front sprocket, I find I'm sometimes in between gears in the slow corners.

Not really today but 2 days ago. I put gold wheel stripes, passenger triboseat and Puig Touring Windshield.

I installed my dodgy blue Chinese levers and my genuine Yamaha Carbon look LED indictaors. The levers aren't too bad for $55 AUD but Pazzo's they are not.
The Yamaha LED indicators are the ducks guts, they come complete with the resistor that allows the ordinary rate of flash. I only bought a set of two so I could assess them but immediately after fitting, I ordered another 2 for the rear.
They are really bright and I reckon they look horn.
I got them from Yamabits and they arrived here in Australia in around 2 weeks. Great service and awesome prices too.
Check them out:

I did nothing to her today but I did get a part in the mail thanks to 08Fizzer!

Because I hacked up my stock fender and I now have the need to mount the stock signals to repair the Copperdog signal pods, I needed a new stock fender. He was kind enough to Pay it Forward but I paid him a little extra to grab a rack a beer! :D

I'm eyeing off the same levers. After spending the $1K on new leathers I have to get the ok off the wife if I want more 'stuff'!
Now that just makes it harder as I want your turn signals too now :doh2:
