Official YZF Makeover Thread

Billy I just saw your video on Youtube before I logged in here. The bike sounds great. Seafoam is a gift from the Gods!! I swear by that stuff.

I'm telling you! We weren't really going to start her up but I had a brand new bottle of Seafoam on the shelf so I asked Tony to give the tank a big dose. The tank had less than a gallon of gas in it and I think we put two ounces of the "juice" in it. When the bike started it was running on only #1 and 2 cylinders. Miraculously, after about 15 minutes of it running, #3 and 4 came to life and it actually sounded halfway decent. After Ivan does his magic, she's gonna run like a clock! I was pretty stoked after hearing it run again today. Saturday can't get here fast enough!:sinister:

Yea, running those EXUP cables was not fun and I knew it wouldn't be an easy job from previous experience.

Bike is coming together nicely and actually ran pretty decent after a while like Billy said. Carbs definitely need a cleaning.

I'm sure by next month the YZF is going to be ready to hit the street :D

Thanks to you bud! I still have to finish the trailer by Friday though. I'll have to recruit Richie after work to hit the garage with me.

Great job with the trailer. Takes a lot more time than it looks.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the wiring comes out.

Thanks Pete. It actually is different than what I first thought. I was under the impression that everything was fully boxed but they aren't. They are C-Style rails and beams so I'm just going to run all wiring into 1/4" wire loom and run them down through the 3/8" holes along the frame rails.

Both turn signals and the brand new Fuel Petcock from Partshark.

Here they are mounted in the mid-panels. I think they look sweet! I hated those flush mounts!
