Hello FZ1(Gen 1) Riders:
I was wondering if anyone has installed and dialed in the FZ1 6Sigma Jet Kit that I purchased on Amazon recently. I was wondering the optimum setting for a stock bike with just a Yosh can slip on? The instructions provided indicated 2 turns on the idle jet screw and one notch raised on the stock needles, drill hole in the slider and replace the main jet. Other than drilling holes in the carb throats, which I do not know why and sooner not do in fear of screwing it up, the procedure looks similar to the Ivan's kit install video I found on Youtube. What is the best amount of spring to snip off the slider springs? Too much snipped will make the response lazy from low revs I am told Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
