    Default ECU Swap help

Couple of ECU questions for those in the know about swaps. Particularly red key/immobiliser equipped bikes and black key/non-immobiliser bikes.

    1. Is the ECU matched to the bike for the red key bikes? It looks like it from the parts fiche pics attached.
    2. If it is matched and the flashed ECU is put into the 2008, will it still run and simply lose the immobiliser function?

Have a flashed ECU from a 2007 FZ1S(no immobiliser) that I'd like to put into a 2008 FZ1N bike with immobiliser. It'll save the time and cost of flashing the 2008 ECU.
I've swapped between 2007 and 2006 and another 2007 but neither of them were a red key bike.

Any and all help appreciated.ECU Swap help-1562046571855.jpgECU Swap help-1562046508563.jpg

You need to use the ignition switch/ code reader that matches the ecu they work as a pair, as i can remember you will find the wiring harnesses differ as well
