Hi all, my 03 FZ1 1 which I have just acquired and had been standing for 3 years seems to have a issue. After a bit of work I have got it running but the petrol pump does not seem to be priming? It starts and runs and when I put power direct to the fuel pump the motor spins but it is does not seem to prime when the ignition is turned on and the kill switch is in the run position? I'm sure it should make a distinctive sound when priming but nothing? I Have not been able to test the bike as I still have a bit to do but should the pump be making a sound when first switched on? When I disconnect the hose from the carbs it seems to be pumping so I'm stumped? Thanks in advance.
