I can tell you stock gearing on my '09 has you at 79mph at 5,000rpm on the highway...cause that's pretty much what I cruise at. I don't even look at the speedo...just watch the tach.
I'm ready to get in this one...but I ride to work in the dark...and ride home in the dark. Let me throw my digital camera (with flash since my phone won't get it done) in my tail bag and see what I can do.
Currently, we need a Starbucks photo?
Outside of brewery options...my specialty beers have always been Bass and Stella.
Bass is one of the cleanest tasting ales IMHO...while Stella has a tad bitter aftertaste.
Check out Exhaust, wheels, apparel, motorcycle accessories, and more from Indysuperbikes and see if they will ship...never know. Definitely worth a try. Good luck!
I searched 'zero gravity double bubble 2009 Yamaha FZ1' and found it at Indysuperbikes.com out of Indianapolis obviously. ;) $69.99 I believe it was...pretty good deal, received it in about a week.
Love the look...as much as I really wanted a black bike murdered out (all black, LOTS of flat...
Here are some pics of the Zero Gravity double bubble in dark smoke...looks great. No idea if it's any different in the wind...and really don't care. Wanted the smoke screen...it measures about the same as factory, but does have a more aerodynamic design.
I put on a dark smoke DB Zero Gravity windscreen
I attempted to paint the inside of my factory screen flat black...and it actually looked pretty good, but the Zero Gravity double bubble dark smoke was exactly what I wanted. This thing looks great.
I also wanted a small bag to hold a few...
Considering how quickly you can install the slip-on, I would put quiet pipe on for test...then come home and swap. When we had vehicle exhaust testing YEARS ago, I would put my cats on to go test...come home and put the off-road pipes back on the Mustang. It was worth it to me. Best of luck!
I'm not sure why we aren't advised to show them, but it seems that is the common sense/logic way of thinking. Other than someone attempting to show up and steal it, I'm not really sure of what is to gain by not displaying it either.
One question for you...what settings are you using on your juice box? The default settings...or did you change any of them up/down? Thanks ahead of time.
Hey FZ1inNH...I noticed your rear turn signals look factory (or maybe they aren't), but you don't have the ugly fender hanging under your license plate. Which fender eliminator did you choose?
I find the exhaust a tad loud at 3,000 rpms thru the gears, but at highway speeds...very tolerable. But if you heard the Samson Street Sweepers on my Big Dog...LOUD LOUD LOUD. This setup is kinda quiet for my taste. :)
I wanted the black model in the worst way, but once I saw the cobalt blue, I fell in love with it. Thanks for the props! :)
It is one sweet bike...really digging it.
