whats this white connector of doom? , any pics and where its located , sounds like my issue
I cut out the connector , wires looked like they partly melted , voltage went up from 12.8 to 13.6 when reved up , not the 14 i was hoping , but better.
Bike shows 12.8 when bikes running and I give it gas , wont go to 13v or up . Seems like it charging somewhat , bike isnt dying while running etc.
jump started it rode around a while , didnt leave me stranded , but didnt re charge it like I thought it would .
Anything I should test , cheap...
all done , success , tapping the bars was tough , metal was getting so hot it burned me. stock cables, works like a charm! Renthal 758 $70 , $14 bar end mirrors , new horn , new grips.
R6 shock , is recommended to use 130mm dog bones ,
my wifes bike is currently lowered 1.25" if I use 130mm dog bones it will bring it back to stock height, what length would lower it a bit , Im assuming longer dog bones the lower it will be .
So I was thinking the stock ones may lower it...
wondering the amount of labor and difficulty swapping throttle cable ,
can it be done with out disconnecting carbs, vacuum tubes , airbox , battery , etc. parts on order , wondering if I should have a mechanic do it .
on a cbr f2 I can disconnect , after removing airbox.
