The difference between a gen 1 carbureted, and a gen 2 fuel injected. Gen 1 does not have an ECU to reflash, smaller flies not on a gen 1, IDK if a quick shifter will work on a Gen 1.

If your bike is stock gearing, then yes your speedo is 5 to 10 % off from the factory. A speedo healer can fix this.
