I'm pretty sure that it offers no added protection in a crash, well I've never herd of a hump offering more protection and since I haven't slid down the road in this jacket yet... touch wood (knocks self on skull) I can't say weather it does or does not. If I was out buying a new jacket today...

nah, I ride all year round here in South Australia but there are some places that get snow and ice, I guess they have to stop over winter. :australia:

I have one jacket with a hump and one with out and I don't notice any difference at all. only time I notice the hump is when I want to wear a back pack... then it's in the way.

I'm a SA boy so went through our local hills around Lobethal and then headed further south just going where ever the roads go, it was a totally awesome day can't wait to head out again... prob Saturday morning before work:flash:

The Hyosung's run Suzuki engines with a Hyosung frame. The Hyosung factory have been making engines for Suzuki since the 70's but have only recently began making there own frames. They are pretty cheap and which is reflected in what you get, there suspension is limited and the breaks need allot...
