Yeah I believe they're just stuck on with adhesive. Taking them off doesn't get you anywhere though unless you just want to replace them with carbon fiber or something.
You sound like me, except I'd replace the "do wheelies" with "drag knees." I also always speak my mind. I'm not going to tip toe around how I feel just because I'm worried about offending someone. I like you already :sport12:
I agree with jared. I miss my FZ1 and I think it was an excellent bike, but only after a long list of mods. Stock is nothing to be particularly impressed about, especially without Ivan's flash. Aside from Ohlins suspension, my Tuono is stock, and my old fully modded FZ1 was still just a notch...

Yes I agree. The track is no doubt the best place to hone your skills. However, not everyone can just go to the track whenever. You can also definitely improve your skills on the street without pushing your limits.
Just as you said, it's all about finding a good road with great corners. I have my goto road that really nothing can compare to. Many solo trips up there, then following some of the fast guys once I got better is how I got to the level of riding I'm at now. It literally makes no difference what...
Unfortunately with California's ridiculous laws I don't think my dealer can do that stuff anymore. Either way though, I'd just send my ecu to AF1 and do the throttle learning myself with guzzidiag. Good to hear that it'll fix the throttle problem though.
Oh man I love this bike too. My only complaint is the throttle response at low speed and low openings. It's very jerky and I end up having to use my clutch at lower speeds. Do you have that problem with the race flash? And just one other thing I don't like is the really slippery seat! How much...
