Hi guys! New on the block after posting in the 'noob section'.
Anyhoo... I have a fz1 gen II with some speed king rear sets fitted.
The problem is, they are loose at the end when it clamps around the gear change spindle (unsure of the correct term, excuse me!).
I've tried clamping it together while doing up the bolt but no such luck. The problem is that both holes are threaded so the bolt cannot pull the second thread in. To remedy this, it is obvious that the first threaded hole would need to be drilled out so the second can be pulled together to clamp the spindle... (make any sense?).
Just seeing if anyone has done this before I do it as I'm worried it may be a possible MOT failure?
Thanks chaps and chapesses!
